Cetylpyridinium Chloride
CPC is absorbed and penetrates into the bacterial cell wall, reacting with the cytoplasmic membrane, causing the bacterial cell wall to break and disrupting bacterial function. It, therefore, has the ability to help kill bacteria in the mouth, effectively reducing plaque and alleviating gingivitis.
Xylitol
Caries prevention with xylitol: Xylitol inhibits the activity of bacteria (Streptococcus mutans) and helps reduce plaque.
